Moros i Cristians (Moors and Christians) are traditional festivities celebrated in many towns in the Valencian Country. Each festivity lasts for a few days and explains the legendary foundation of the town and reenacts the fights between Moorish and Christians during the Medieval Ages. Some of them are documented since as early as the 16th century.
